Dr. Patricia A. Simon has had a passion for dentistry and, in particular, orthodontics since childhood. Once she saw the positive impact a beautiful smile can have on someone, she decided she had found her calling in life. Today, Dr. Simon has been a practicing orthodontist near Lower Greenville for over 25 years!
To achieve her goal of becoming an orthodontist, she began her journey into dentistry with a Bachelor of Science from Saint Bonaventure University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. From there, she honed her skills as an orthodontist through an Orthodontic Residency at Boston University and a Fellowship in Craniofacial and Dentofacial Abnormalities at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
After school, Dr. Simon decided to give back to the educational community that shaped her. She became a full-time faculty member at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for five years. Afterward, she founded her practice where she provides quality orthodontics near Lower Greenville and the greater Dallas area.
At Lakewood Orthodontics, Dr. Simon combines art and science to create personalized treatment plans for her patients. She understands that every smile is as unique as the person wearing it and strives to be both personable and professional in every case. From traditional metal braces to modern clear aligners like Invisalign and surgical orthodontics, Dr. Simon offers a wide range of options for children, teens, and adults who want beautiful, straightened smiles.
Dr. Simon is proud to be a lifelong learner, continuing to strengthen her skills through multiple professional organizations like the American Board of Orthodontics and the Dallas County Dental Society. Outside the office, Dr. Simon and her husband, Kyle, share a passion for restoring historic homes, like their residence in the Peak Suburban Historic District of Dallas. They also travel together and look for opportunities to try new and interesting activities like trapeze lessons, windsurfing, and city exploration.
